Reducing red tape starts with a plan, and Douglas County now has one. ✂️
Yesterday, Douglas County released its new Red Tape Reduction Action Plan, marking the start of an effort to make it easier, faster and more predictable for businesses to invest and grow in our community.
“Businesses value certainty and credibility. We have financial incentives to encourage businesses to invest here in Douglas County. And now we’re adding another tool to our toolbox: predictability and speed,” said Ellie Reynolds, President and CEO of the Douglas County Economic Development Corporation.
The plan outlines practical steps to reduce unnecessary regulatory hurdles, improve application and permitting processes, and create a clearer path for businesses.
We’re proud to work alongside Douglas County - Government on this effort and look forward to turning the plan into meaningful improvements for businesses across Douglas County.
This is just the beginning. Less red tape. More certainty. A stronger business environment.
Thank you to the Denver Business Journal for highlighting this important work.
