The DCEDC had a great time on the LEX trip to Nashville last week! 🎸🏟️

We came away inspired by how Nashville has embraced its strengths in entertainment, music, and sports to create economic opportunity and a strong community identity.

We’re bringing those ideas home and thinking about how we can build on the unique strengths of Colorado.

Yesterday marked the first day of the 2026 Leadership Exchange trip with Metro Denver EDC, Metro Denver Leadership Foundation, and Metro Denver Chamber.

We toured the new Nissan Stadium, set to open in February 2027, and gained a firsthand look at how Nashville is approaching major development, infrastructure, and economic growth.

Looking forward to more opportunities to learn, connect, and exchange ideas throughout the week!

From faster permitting to a more streamlined development process, Douglas County is making speed, predictability and certainty a priority for businesses.

And we’re already putting it to the test, helping international aerospace company Sodern America secure its initial permit in 24 hours and its tenant improvement permit in under two weeks.
