💜 2026 Wellbeing Symposium Recap 💜

What a meaningful day! Our attendees came together for a powerful experience filled with connection, reflection, and practical tools for wellbeing.

Our incredible speakers guided us through identifying emotions, navigating difficult feelings (including the powerful practice of "looking up"), and workshopping strategies in our carepartner and people with PD groups. We wrapped up with Jenine leading a retirement party for all our "I should have" and "I should be" statements. It was a truly eye-opening and freeing experience. 🎉

A heartfelt thank you to our speakers, donors, sponsors, Holy Trinity Church, and Abbott for making this event possible. We couldn't do it without you.

⭐May Member Spotlight ⭐
We are thrilled to celebrate Mary Jo and Brian Hines this month! They both bring so much joy to our classes with their senses of humor and Mary Jo’s big smile. Mary Jo has been fighting since her young onset diagnosis, and we love seeing how they fight together… literally in Supported Fitboxing class!

We’re grateful for the insights they share, particularly when they joined our Coffee and Connect last month to open up about their experience with Deep Brain Stimulation.

Thank you both for showing us what persistence looks like. We are grateful to have you in the Parkinson’s Pointe community!

Spinathon Success! 🚴‍♂️
On April 25th, Parkinson's Pointe made history with our very first Spinathon. And wow, did our community show up!

Over 50 participants filled every bike, spinning for 30 minutes to four full hours in a morning packed with movement, heart, and purpose.

💰 Together, we raised over $18,000 to support new classes and equipment!
This event started as a conversation between member Loren and instructor Jenny. That's the magic of this community. An idea becomes inspiration, and inspiration becomes $18,000 for the people we serve.

Thank you to every rider, donor, volunteer, and supporter who made this day unforgettable.

Check out all of the photos from the Spinathon. https://parkinsonspointe.org/first-parkinsons-pointe-spinathon-is-a-success/
