🇺🇸Friday Fact:

⭐️The Ocker-Snyder American Legion Memorial Post 321 was founded in 1946 and in honor of John W. Ocker & George E. Snyder. John died while in the Meuse-Argonne Offensive in 1918. George, who was also in this Offensive, died of influenza shortly after the mission started. The Legion was originally designated to Snyder in his hometown of New Oxford, PA before the relocation and combined memorial post.

⭐️The Meuse-Argonne Offensive took place from September 26th to November 11th of 1918. This was the largest military operation ever undertaken by the U.S. Army at the time. The U.S. and French forces led this against the German armistice, and resulted in over 120,000 casualties.
