Survived Hairpins Halloween St. Louis… barely 😮‍💨✅

You creative little cuties give us so much LIFE!!!!!!! Seeing your glittery costumes and multiple of you covered in full body paint (your commitment to the bit is inspiring) on the HandleBar dance floor for our first Halloween in STL is something we will never forget 🥹 and can we make a little commotion for DJ Jillian and DJ Monie Loveee?! They kept the music locked and loaded for hours. Seriously… banger after banger 🔥

We so admire the dedication of our costume contest winners: A #2 pencil took the crown for Q***r Icon (naturally), a badass homemade Mandalorian costume was by FAR the Most Creative, and Best Duo went home with the “newly dead’s” … a couple who LITERALLY GOT MARRIED BEFORE HAIRPINS ON FRIDAY ARE YOU KIDDING?!

ST. LOUIS, WE’RE GETTING TOGETHER 🫂💜

For the first time, we’re bringing Hairpins Together to STL, an all-ages community program by the Dropping Hairpins Project, designed to support trans community members and connect with one another outside of a nightlife setting!

We couldn’t think of a better place to host our first Hairpins Together event in STL than at the one and only Sugarwitch!!! We’ve been DYING to partner with them, and it’s finally happening on Friday, November 13th from 6-10pm. Oh, and did we mention this event is TOTALLY FREE?!

No cost to enter, but 10% of any purchases you ✨do✨ make from Sugarwitch during that time will directly support a transgender community member’s gender-affirming care. More on our amazing trans community partner(s) coming soon 🤭
