As Employee & DSP Appreciation Week comes to a close, we want to recognize what truly makes AEDD special...our people. ♥

Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to improve the quality of their lives, but a mission is only words without the people who bring it to life.

Our Direct Support Professionals are beside the individuals we serve in the everyday moments. They encourage independence, teach skills, support goals, create opportunities, celebrate progress, and help each person live with greater confidence, connection, and purpose.

Supporting that direct work is an entire team of AEDD employees working together to make our programs and services possible, ultimately making a difference in the lives of the individuals we serve.

Every role matters. Every person contributes. And together, our employees are the heart behind AEDD’s mission.

To our DSPs and our entire AEDD family: THANK YOU for the compassion, dedication, patience, and purpose you bring to this work. The impact you make reaches far beyond a single day or week of appreciation. ❤️💙
