Yesterday, we celebrated the first ribbon cutting of our Community Housing in Cabot! We are so thankful for the community’s support and for everyone who attended. 🎀✂️

These projects would not have been made possible without the incredible support of Speaker of the House, Rep. Brian Evans, Lonoke Co. Judge Doug Erwin, Lonoke Co. Judge-Elect Mike Verkler, Mayor Ken Kincade, Arkansas Development Finance Authority, Taggart Architects, and Corco Construction. We are immensely grateful for all of your hard work and dedication!
Thank you to the Cabot Area Chamber of Commerce for their continued support.

We are so excited to finally open the first, of many, projects in Cabot! We look forward to continuing our mission to empower individuals with developmental disabilities in the Cabot area. ❤️

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 2 weeks since this spectacular night under the big top! 🎪✨

Many attendees may not realize that the work begins long before the big night. Our AEDD in the Rock Drama Troupe rehearses for months leading up to the show. Each rehearsal combines elements of speech therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy and helps build important skills including teamwork, problem solving, and so much more!

The best part of all is watching their confidence grow from the very first rehearsal to the final performance. It is truly an incredible thing to witness and we are so thankful to be a part of it.

We are so proud of our members and so grateful for everyone who attended this year’s Curtain Call! ❤️

AEDD is closed today (5/25) in observance of Memorial Day! 🇺🇸

We are so grateful for the men and women who gave their lives for our country. We hope to honor them by continuing to work toward freedom and equality for all. ❤️

We will resume normal business hours tomorrow (5/26)!

What a whirlwind of a week it’s been! 🌪️

Last night was a culmination of months of planning, hard work, and dedication!
Our members have spent so much time preparing for the moment they stepped on that stage and they did an absolutely amazing job! We are so incredibly proud of them and so thankful for our staff, volunteers, and the attendees of this year’s Curtain Call! 🎪✨

Special thanks to The Sanctuary at Argenta for being the absolute perfect venue to help us bring our vision to life!
We hope everyone had a spectacular time!!!

Full dress rehearsal this morning for family and friends to prepare for the big day on Thursday!! Everyone is so excited!! Curtain Call is our signature fundraiser that we bring AEDD members to perform an original skit written and directed by and produced/chaired by 🤹🎩🥂🌟❤️🤡
