Join us for a free advocacy training designed to help participants build confidence and practical skills ahead of the 2027 Arkansas legislative session.

Using a mock legislative format, participants will learn how to prepare effective committee testimony and one-on-one meetings with legislators. The training will also provide an opportunity to practice delivering testimony and advocacy messages in a supportive environment and receive constructive feedback.

Abortion bans do not make pregnancy safer.

They create confusion, delay care, and put lives at risk.

A new investigation found that deaths following ectopic pregnancies have nearly doubled, with the sharpest increases in states with abortion bans. Ectopic pregnancies are not viable, and delaying treatment can be deadly. No one experiencing a medical emergency should have to wait while doctors determine whether the law allows them to act.

This is the real cost of political interference in reproductive healthcare.

Gloria Steinem died yesterday at 92, after spending more than six decades fighting for women’s freedom.

Her feminism was inseparable from the fight for reproductive freedom. She spoke publicly about her own abortion, obtained before abortion was legal in the United States and spent the rest of her life insisting that the ability to decide whether and when to become a parent is fundamental to our equality.

Today, we are doing that work in a country where the right she fought decades to secure has been taken away, and in Arkansas, where abortion is banned in nearly every circumstance.

So we honor Gloria Steinem the way movements honor the people who came before us: by continuing.

By helping people get the care they need.
By refusing to let shame and silence win.
By fighting for bodily autonomy even when the law refuses to recognize it.
By believing that a different future is still possible.

Rest in power, Gloria.

Four years ago today, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. That same day, abortion became effectively illegal in Arkansas.

The need for abortion care did not disappear. Neither did the Arkansas Abortion Support Network.

Since then, we have helped more than 2,000 Arkansans access abortion care by providing direct financial assistance for abortion procedures and travel costs, logistical support, practical resources, and compassionate guidance every step of the way.
