The mission of UCP of Arkansas is to advance the independence, productivity

and full citizenship for people with disabilities, and this accomplished through our core values of:

Quality Conscious United Cerebral Palsy at 36th street is a day program that provides rehabilitation and therapy services to adults with disabilities ages 18+. Our classes consist of two instructors (a Lead and an Aid) who assist the clients in activities that allow them to become as independent as possible. These activities are implemented through a carefully planned curriculum that promotes fine and gross motor function, as well as cognitive skills. These activities include:

-Arts and Crafts
-Money Management
-Cooking
-Music Appreciation
-Science Experiments
-Physical Fitness
-Computer Lab
-Etiquette/Personal Hygiene Classes

Our newly added Art program gives our clients an opportunity to explore their creativity, utilize an emotional outlet, and improve their fine motor skills. The clients are also sold artists whose work was recently featured this past December in the North Little Rock Argenta Artwalk. Artwork is displayed throughout the 36th street center and is available for purchase.
