Introducing Larry "Coach" Clark, Sr., Spark! Star 2026 💫

Larry “Coach” Clark, Sr. is the founder and CEO of Life Skills for Youth, Inc. (LSY), a nonprofit organization established in September 2007. Coach Clark has more than 40 years of experience instructing and mentoring youth and believes in giving back through “Mentoring Youth for Tomorrow.” His vision and mission equip young people with tools they need to build confident futures and become leaders in their communities.

Coach Clark has provided an opportunity for young people the past 19 years to expand and build the educational skills needed to prepare them for career readiness.

LSY, under Coach Clark’s leadership, has developed and sustained its after-school care, summer, and parent academy programs. Anger, Time & Money Management (ATM), a new program, has recently been added to LSY’s curriculum. ATM empowers youth with the practical life skills in anger control, time management, and financial responsibility.

Coach Clark is driven by his strong faith. Over the past 19 years, he has built lasting partnerships with individuals and businesses committed to making a positive difference in lives of young people. Currently LSY can accommodate 150 students, and with the new Life Skills for Youth’s Literacy & Technology Center coming soon, LSY will be able to extend its programs to enhance the lives for 300+ students.

Thank you Coach Clark for the work you do to further STEM in Arkansas. Join us in celebrating Coach Clark, our other Spark! Stars, and our STEM community at the Spark! Luncheon 11/2 or the Spark! Gala 11/10.
