One week from today will mark the 25th anniversary of a day that changed America and the world forever.

As we remember the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001, we are also reminded of the strength, courage, and compassion that brought our country together. One way we can carry that spirit forward is through service.

On Sept. 12, American Legion Auxiliary members are invited to join the National Day of Service and Remembrance by helping clean headstones and beautify national cemeteries.

🇺🇸 BEEBE VETERAN ELECTED TO NATIONAL AMERICAN LEGION LEADERSHIP POSITION

Michael W. Westergren of Beebe has been elected national vice commander of The American Legion.

Westergren was selected during the organization’s 107th National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky.
