Here's another herbal gathering by one of our community partners, Lavender Kendra.

✨You’re invited to have fun with us making your own infused herbal honey in good company ✨🧚🏽

🍯 What: Infused Herbal Honey Class

🍯 When: October 23rd

🍯 Time: 6:30-8:00pm

🍯 Where: Little Rock, AR (address shared upon RSVP)

🍯 What: Join us for a 1.5-hour intimate gathering to chat about herbs, honey, and two methods of honey infusion. Each guest will make their own herbal honey to take home. All supplies are included in the cost.

🍯 Who: This is for the curious minded, herbal-baddies, and people who want to try something new. This event is for all levels—no previous experience required. Come learn and be present with us.

🌱 This weekend was truly beautiful, a powerful reminder that community matters.🌱

The free, hands-on Fire Cedar Wellness Workshop taught by Gabrielle Wilkerson highlighted the importance of education, collaboration, and shared purpose.

G. Wilkerson shared her personal testimony about how herbs supported her wellness journey, emphasizing that she does not provide medical advice and encouraging everyone to do their own due diligence and consult their physician about any herbs they consume with any prescription they are on or will be taking.

The workshop also celebrated the strength of collaboration. Nonprofits, gardeners, beekeepers, and farmers came together because they understand this mission is greater than ONE individual name, heading, status, or title.

Together, we can build healthier communities and strengthen food security!

🌟 FREE Community Fall Wellness Festival 🌟

We’re gearing up for another Fall Wellness Festival, BUT this time in the Rose City Community!

📅 - November 7th
⏰- 11 a.m.- 2:30 pm

🍂 As we kick off another year, we’re grateful for the incredible collaboration between nonprofits, gardeners, farmers, and local business owners. Together, we’re embracing the spirit of community and the belief that “if you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.” 💫

Join us on November 7th at the Rose City Lot, 803 Water Street, NLR, AR, for a day of wellness, connection, and fun!

🍂 Fall is near 🍂

Sometimes we have to learn to be still so we can hear and watch for the Creator’s signs and take the rewards given before humans.

The red spider lilies 🌺 are popping up & bitterweed is blossoming 🌼. While bitterweed makes honey taste bitter, it’s an awesome nectar source for pollinators. A sign for some beekeepers to pull your honey frames if you don’t like medicinal honey, but some do and wait for them to bloom, with Goldenrod blooming soon!!

The men are tilling and filling beds with liquid gold 🫡, prepping for a new season.

I’m in the lab cooking up & prepping things before the season! Why do we, as humans, wait until the last minute and not take preventive measures?
