The first trees are in the ground! 🌳🌿

New trees were planted along the restored Ferndale Creek, helping stabilize the streambanks, reduce erosion, provide shade, and create habitat for wildlife.

But the work is not finished. We still have time before November 1 to fund these trees, and every gift toward stream planting will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $24,000.

Help us fully plant the stream and double your impact. 💚

Why trees along the stream? 🌿

When Ferndale Creek was reconnected as a free-flowing stream, we opened the door to a healthier, more biodiverse ecosystem. But a restored streambed needs a restored streamside, and that means roots.

Trees planted along the bank will:
🌳 Stabilize the soil and reduce erosion
🌊 Filter runoff and improve water quality
🦋 Provide shade and habitat for wildlife
🌱 Anchor the new landscape for generations

Right now, every gift toward this work is matched dollar-for-dollar by Arkansas Interfaith Power & Light — up to $24,000 — through Nov. 1.

Help us put down roots. Give today and note "Tree Match": www.ferncliff.org/transform/stream/
