Save AR Democracy

This is why it is so important to sign the Save AR Democracy ballot measure. It protects the initiative and referendum process from the General Assembly.

It prohibits the General Assembly from referring constitutional amendments that change the initiative process. All changes must be initiated and approved by the people. In addition, ANY law that the General Assembly makes, before it becomes effective, must be approved by voters at the next General Election. Also, ALL laws must also be narrowly tailored to meet a legitimate government purpose, which is the strict scrutiny judicial test.

The Save AR Democracy measure is the ONLY petition with these safeguards. Look for and sign the blue petition today.
