Goodness Village offers furnished apartments for medical patients receiving treatment in Little Rock.

We had a wonderful time at the Anne Hickman Lectureship, hosted by the Association of Fundraising Professionals - Arkansas Chapter!

It was especially fun catching up with our friend Mandy Macke from the Willard and Pat Walker Charitable Foundation, whose generosity helps us care for families at Goodness Village. We also enjoyed meeting fellow speaker Erica Dayton from the The Golisano Foundation!

We're always grateful for opportunities to learn, connect, and be surrounded by people who share a heart for giving back and of course to honor the wonderful late Anne Hickman and her many contributions to our Arkansas community.

Thank you to AFP Arkansas for bringing everyone together for such a great afternoon!

We loved catching up with Mandy Macke from the Willard & Pat Walker Charitable Foundation!

Mandy is pictured with a special plaque recognizing the Foundation for its generous support of Goodness Village and the families we serve. The plaque will soon find its home in one of our apartments; a lasting reminder of the kindness that helps make these spaces feel like home.

We're SO grateful for the Foundation's continued generosity and commitment to caring for families during some of life's hardest days. Thank you for being such a special part of Our Village!

Recently our volunteers got together for a little creativity, conversation, and some hands-on projects to help make life a little sweeter for our guests.

We love seeing the friendships and laughter that happen when Our Village comes together.
And the best part? All that fun turns into little acts of kindness for the families we serve.

We're so thankful for our volunteers and the love they pour into Goodness Village!

Our friends from National Charity League (NCL) got into the Halloween spirit and painted 26 pumpkins, each one more creative than the last! We even stirred up a little friendly competition, with everyone voting for their favorite. The winner scored a $5 7 Brew gift card!

NCL and Young Men's Service League (YMSL) also delivered pumpkins and breakfast bags for our guests. Some of our international families weren't quite sure what to do with their pumpkins, making for a fun introduction to a fall tradition!

A big thank you to NCL and YMSL for bringing a little Halloween magic and a whole lot of GOODNESS to Our Village!

A big thank you to Entergy Arkansas for inviting Goodness Village to be part of their Employee Appreciation Days!

We had the best time working alongside their team to put together tote bags, lavender salt scrubs, boo bags, cookies in a jar, and rice heating pads for our guests. Each one is a little reminder to the families staying with us that someone is thinking of them during a difficult season.

We're so grateful for organizations like Entergy Arkansas that don't just talk about caring for their community—they roll up their sleeves and show it!

Some families never really leave Our Village.

During our Day of Goodness tours of Apartment 28, Nick and Karen Melton joined us to share what Goodness Village meant to them during Nick’s bone marrow transplant.

Our mission is about more than providing a place to stay. It’s about giving families a place to feel safe, comfortable and close to care during some of life’s hardest days. And when former guests come back years later to share their stories, it’s one of the greatest reminders of why this work matters.

The Meltons’ story is one we still hold close. 💙
