The AR Fitness Professionals Hall of Fame is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to recognizing and honoring outstanding fitness professionals who have made significant contributions to the health and well-being of Arkansas citizens.

Please join us in welcoming Renea McKenzie to the Class of 2026!

Renea’s fitness career began in 2008 at the Bowman Fitness Club and then Members Fitness Club. For the past seven years, she has called Houk Performance Therapy “home”. Renea’s clients rave about the high level of care, professionalism, positivity, knowledge, experience and passion she brings to each session!

We couldn’t have said it better, so we’ll quote Renea: “Fitness is including all people, all scales of ability, and most importantly, giving the inclusivity in the gym that transfers to feeling included and powerful in the outside world!”

We are so excited to be inducting the second class in the Hall of Fame! We will be announcing the Class of 2026 over the next few days!

Help us congratulate Lorie Kimes Scott! 🎉

Lorie’s long career in fitness began in 1993! She has worked at the YMCA, SemperFit, Total Fitness, Powerhouse Gym, Immanuel Church Faith/Fitness Center, Gym for Him Ministry, The Athletic Clubs, Lorie’s Leaps and Bounds and NPC judge for over 20 years!

Oh and last but not least, Lorie was the first female IFBB pro in Arkansas! 🎉

“I want others to know that transformation doesn’t require perfection. It requires courage, consistency, and the belief that you become stronger each and every day. My goal is to encourage confidence, courage, and real transformation so people can turn struggles into strengths to overcome any obstacles, and walk forward with hope.”

The Board of Directors voted on the Class of 2026 last night!!! Inductees will receive a phone call very soon!! Thank you Arkansas for supporting us as we head into year two!! We are so blessed to have the opportunity to show our appreciation for our fitness leaders and mentors!

We love trying out and supporting Arkansas gyms! Jazzercise Little Rock was gracious enough to let us workout with them this morning! Thank you for an upbeat and fun workout! Everyone was so kind!
