Father Jon Miskin of Batesville, who played in the tournament in 2025, said, “It’s a great cause. It’s a perfect opportunity for Catholics around the state to get together for fun, fellowship, and supporting an incredible charity.”

Lucas Babst joined the staff at Catholic Charities of Arkansas in January as an immigration specialist for the Catholic Immigration Services office in Little Rock.

For the past 40 years, the St. Edward Outreach Center has operated out of a 100-year-old house. Following a successful capital campaign, construction of a new building is well underway, there is still more to do to be ready to offer expanded services from the new kitchen and food pantry.

One Church has raised $39,271 to support the St. Edward Outreach Center in Texarkana, serving the hungry and food-insecure in the community.
