Because of the spread of the Covid virus, we have temporarily closed the Firehouse Hostel & Museum.

Located in Little Rock’s Historic MacArthur Park, Old Firehouse #2 has been converted into a firefighting museum, fire safety education center, and event venue. HI Firehouse Hostel & Museum is the first international hostel in central Arkansas. It is located in historic Little Rock Fire Station #2 on Commerce Street in MacArthur Park. The hostel serves as a hub for international and domestic trave

lers while the museum is dedicated to firefighter memorabilia for locals and travelers alike. This 36-bed hostel has separate Women and Mens Dorms, a Family Co-Ed/Wheelchair accessible room, and a private ensuite Captain's Room. The shared spaces include a kitchen, dining room, laundry facilities, and lobby wth a guest computer and free wifi.

🚨 Summertime Sirens is sounding off at the Firehouse Museum of Arkansas! 🚨

Join us on select Saturdays this summer from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for an afternoon of firehouse fun! Climb aboard our antique fire trucks, cool off with free lemonade, enjoy balloons and giveaways, and discover the exciting history of Arkansas firefighting.

Here’s another pic sent to us from Chief Shoemaker that he colorized. This is of E-2 parked in front of station 2 when it was located at 12th & Commerce. This building still stands today as the Firehouse Museum of Arkansas and is open for tours.
