IT’S TODAY, ARKANSAS! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

All week, we’ve built toward this moment. Bingo at Stickyz, crowns at Triniti, our voices at the Capitol and on the mic at Vino’s. Now we bring every one of those stories to Capitol Ave, together.

The 14th Annual Arkansas PRIDEFest & Parade

🚩 The parade steps off at 11 am, running down W Capitol Ave Steps at the intersection of Arch St and ending at Pulaski St.

All day long:

🎤 Live entertainment with Adam Mac, Alexis Mateo, Dominique Sanchez, Kai Coggin, Lydia von Hof, Mortalus, and our newly crowned pageant winners

🌮 Two food courts with local vendors

💚 Wellness resources for mental and physical health

🎧 The Interactive Zone: a silent disco, giant games, and crafts for kids and adults

🎨 The Cultural Community Space for art, expression, and heritage

🤫 A quiet area with noise-cancelling headphones for anyone who needs a break

♿ ADA accessible, with two dedicated ADA parking lots. EMTs at the info tent.

☀️ Bring: your people, water, sunscreen, comfy shoes, and cash for vendors and tips

🏳️‍🌈 PRIDE, JOY, RESILIENCE, AND UNITY! 🏳️‍⚧️

That's what Arkansas PRIDEfest has always been about, and it's what we'll celebrate together on Capitol Ave. We know many of you have heard that protest groups may show up this weekend. It’s okay to feel uneasy about it.

Here’s what we want you to know though: we’ve been ready for this. Your safety has been a priority from the very beginning, which is why we’ve worked alongside the City of Little Rock and local officials throughout the entire planning process. Our leadership, safety team, security personnel, and volunteers will be on the ground all day, so you don’t have to carry that worry because we’ve got it.

All you need to do is:
💜 Don't engage and let our team handle any protesters
👀 Tell a volunteer or safety team member if something feels off
📍 Visit our info booth at Ringo & Capitol if you need anything
🚨 Call 911 in an emergency

And then let yourself enjoy it.

Tomorrow is about Pride, joy, resilience, and unity. Local entertainment will fill the stage all day, our community will fill Capitol Ave, and for one day we get to be loud, proud, and surrounded by people who love us exactly as we are. This is our time to celebrate, our time to shine, and our time to bring joy.

Whether this is your first Pride or your fourteenth, you belong here. 💜

In 2023, our community showed up at the Capitol and fought SB 43, and we learned that our stories have power when lawmakers hear them. With the 2027 legislative session coming, today is your chance to learn how to tell your story.

Free advocacy training: learn how to prepare testimony and one-on-one talks with lawmakers, then practice yours and get feedback in a supportive space. No experience needed.

Crowns come out TONIGHT. 👑✨

In 2023, drag was targeted at our State Capitol with SB 43. Athena Sinclair, our community, and Central Arkansas Pride showed up and fought hard against it. Tonight, we answer the only way that feels right: by putting drag artists center stage and crowning them.

Who will be the next Mr, Miss, and Mx Central AR Pride? Contestants compete in Pride attire, talent (lip syncs, live vocals, dance, and comedy), and an on-stage Q&A about what our community means to them.

The winners don’t just take home a crown. They headline the PRIDEFest stage THIS Saturday and represent Arkansas’s LGBTQIA+ community all year long. Come cheer them on!
