Coming to Arkansas...Teaching Children Effectively Level 1! This course is designed to give you practical, hands-on training that will allow you to take your ministry to children to a new level. Emphasis is placed on meaningful classroom activities that enrich children spiritually while they have fun. You will leave equipped to begin a new outreach to children, or to enhance your current ministry. We will meet over Zoom for eight weeks in January through February, 2027. *Please pray for a meeting with a school principal for approval to hold a Christmas Party Club at the school. (Janelle)

*Please pray for our plans for a Teaching Children Effectively Level 1 course in Arkansas this winter, and for it to benefit the children’s ministry workers who participate. Please also pray for me as I do Gospel face painting this Saturday at my church’s booth at a community Harvest Festival. (Esther)

*Please pray for God to provide the necessary funding for growing ministry across the state. Chapters and the state office require funding for operating expenses and ministry supplies, and staff need to raise financial support to cover their salaries.

*Please pray for the spiritual, emotional, and physical health of all our staff and volunteers.

We have a lot of praises to share this week! Please join us in praying for the following prayer needs shared by some of our staff:

*Praise God for time at the Northwest Arkansas District Fair. Sam led a child and a teen to the Lord! A total of 165 kids had their faces painted and the Gospel shared with them, and 80 children from a school where we have a Good News Club received a card for signing up with U-Nite, a Gospel bracelet, Gospel tract, and a sticker. Please pray for our Good News Clubs that have started and those that will start soon: Valley Springs, Mary Mae, Western Grove, and Jasper. (Madison)

*Praise God for the Good News Club in Mena at Holly Harshman Elementary School that started last week. They have nine kids enrolled and seven attended. Pray for the Good News Club starting the week at Alma Intermediate School in Alma (18 kids are enrolled so far), Dwight Elementary School in Russellville, Crawford Elementary School in Russellville. *Praise God for a Christmas Party Club at Camden-Fairview Middle School. This will be our first ever event inside a school there. Praise God for six scheduled Fall Fests where we will be able to share the Gospel. Praise God for East Main Daycare reopening as Mini Miracles soon. We will be heavily involved in daycare ministry there and will have a permanent office on the grounds. Please pray for upcoming training events, support raising efforts, and additional board members. *Praise God for the Fall retreat at Soaring Eagle Camp for a few teen boys. Please pray for them to have a genuine hunger for God. Praise God for all the new volunteers he has sent our way and for the one reported salvation so far. Please pray that volunteers would see the importance of children's ministry and that they would have a deep love for the Lord and for children. Also, pray that the Lord would give me wisdom and discernment on how to best use my time. (Nick)

Chapter Highlight: CEF of North Central Arkansas

Our North Central Chapter is located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. While every road around is as curvy as can be, the harmonious blend of wild beauty, rich history, and welcoming culture makes this part of the state timeless and unforgettable. This serene location offers the ideal setting for our Camp Good News® ministry which allows kids to experience the goodness of God in his creation.

Over the past year the Lord has brought many new volunteers to help with Good News Clubs. Even with the great increase of volunteers, one of our greatest prayer requests is still for more workers. The goal for the chapter is ultimately to have a Good News Club connected to all 27 elementary schools in this part of the state. In Matthew 9:37-38 Jesus tells his disciples that the "harvest is plentiful but the workers are few" and that they should "pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." Would you join us in prayer that God would raise up passionate disciples to bring His Good News to the children of North Central Arkansas? *Please continue to pray for a Local Director for the West Central Chapter, as well as additional board members.

*Please pray for God to provide the necessary funding for growing ministry across the state. Chapters and the state office require funding for operating expenses and ministry supplies, and staff need to raise financial support to cover their salaries.

*Please pray for a recent encounter with an unbeliever at a grocery store, and for God to bring along someone to water the seeds planted in that person’s life.

*Please pray for a new board member who can serve as treasurer.
