Black Families in the United States, experience stillbirth at more than twice the rate of other families. This is a heartbreaking and unacceptable reality, and it is one of the reasons our work remains so deeply focused on reducing the prevalence of stillbirth across the country.During Black Maternal Health Week, and every week, we honor the babies lost and stand with the families carrying this grief. Raising awareness is one meaningful way to help. Sharing this post helps bring attention to a crisis that far too often goes unseen and unheard. If reading this statistic is painful because you have lost your baby, we are deeply sorry. We understand the heartbreak behind these numbers, and we are holding space for you and your beautiful baby. 🫶🏻Another way to make a difference is by contributing your pregnancy experience to research. If you are currently pregnant, gave birth in the last five years, or have experienced a stillbirth, your story can help researchers better understand why this is happening and how lives can be saved.Comment “PRP” and will send you the link to participate in this research study.
