“It's time that we demand more of our public schools in Arkansas rather than just encouraging students to abandon them. In Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, disadvantaged students get extra help but must succeed on the same terms as everyone else. Education leaders in those states will tell you that's what the job market demands.”

📢 Arkansas! We need your help TODAY.

🚌 For AR Kids is on the road to the 91,000 signatures needed by July 3rd to get the Arkansas Educational Rights Amendment on the November ballot for Arkansas voters to have a say!

💪 Our incredible volunteers are hosting more than 35 public signing opportunities across the state during the next week. You can learn more about our proposed education reforms, how to donate and support the work, and find details for all upcoming signing events at www.forARkids.org

👉 Helpful reminder: You can sign the For AR Kids petition in counties other than the one you reside in. Just let the volunteer canvasser know, so they can make sure you sign on a petition that matches your home county.

🎯 A key part of the reforms that For AR Kids is advocating for is increased accountability and stronger guardrails for Arkansas’ ever-ballooning EFA program that’s currently siphoning $380 MILLION of our taxpayer dollars to just 44,000 (less than 10%) Arkansas students who use the funds to supplement the costs of private education.

💯 With more than 465,000 (more than 90%) of all Arkansas students attending local, public schools, we believe investing these taxpayer funds into more thoughtful, truly-innovative strategies for schools that educate and support the majority of our children, would produce a much better return on investment for Arkansas' future.
