If you think fraternal societies take care of our members and our communities then go to www.fraternalsgiveback.org and sign the form to send a letter to our Senators and State Representatives. Support House Congressional Resolution 19. It takes just a minute....it's important. Thanks

The start of a new Congress gives fraternals across the country a great opportunity to tell our story to members who might not know about fraternals, and the many ways we give back to others within our communities. The recently released update of a study by University of Maryland economist Phil Swag…

The annual banquet was a success! Great food and great entertainment from Randall Eller. Saw some familiar faces and some new fraternalists too.
Looking forward to a great 2014!

We need your help....please contact Your U.S. Senator

On June 27, 2013, Senator Max Baucus (D-Mont.), chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, and his GOP counterpart, Senator Orin Hatch (R-Utah) sent a letter to every member of the Senate proposing a "blank slate" approach to tax reform. This approach would eliminate virtually every tax preference and exemption from the current Tax Code - including the deductions for mortgage interest and charitable contributions - and require those who benefit from such provisions to make a compelling case to lawmakers that such policies should be restored.

Baucus and Hatch stated in their letter that each credit and deduction will be scrutinized and those that cannot be justified will be eliminated. Baucus and Hatch indicated that "some existing tax breaks should be preserved in some form," and asked their colleagues in the Senate to send them feedback on priorities for preserving such provisions by July 26.

We need your help in contacting your U.S. Senators and asking for their support in retaining the federal fraternal exemption. Go to woodmen.org or www.senateblankslatecampaign.com. Fill in the information on the right hand side of the page and click the "Take Action" button to send a personal message to both of your US Senators on this important issue.

This only take a minute to complete and is very important. Again, we need your help!
Thanks!

A GREAT BIG THANKS again to Tom Brannon from KTHV Channel 11 & James Staats from Golden Corral in NLR. It was a pleasure to surprise Tom & James with "Home Town Hero" awards for all the things they both do in our community. Those two guys are the best!!!
