Last week, AARP Arkansas State Director Ashley McBride and State President Odessa Darrough, were on Capitol Hill working hard for Arkansas residents 50 and older. Over the course of the day, they met with Congressman Bruce Westerman and Senator John Boozman to discuss important legislation around Caregiving and Fraud while emphasizing the importance of preserving Social Security. It was an impactful day, made even more meaningful with the support of AARP Federal Strategy Director Kathleen Ford and AARP Dr. Myechia Minter-Jordan, and in the good company of our colleagues from across the nation.
