P.A.T.H.

P.A.T.H. Partners Against Trafficking Humans PATH provides a variety of victim services for survivors of s*x-trafficking, s*xual exploitation and prostitution.

There are very few resources available in Arkansas and no Day Treatment Centers other than PATH for victims of s*xual assault. When a survivor has no resources they frequently fall back into the hands of their captor. PATH's goal is to provide a safe place where women can find physical, emotional and spiritual healing. In addition, PATH provides community awareness, victim services training, outre

ach and education, works closely with legislators to tighten the laws in Arkansas, and much more. Join in the fight by calling 501-993-1641. Tours are available. Call Louise to schedule a tour or find out how to get involved.

While we know women and girls make up the majority of s*x trafficking victims, we also know it happens to men and boys. How are victims recruited? While there are many ways victims are recruited, one way is through the internet. This can happen through social media and online gaming. We have to protect our children by learning the facts surrounding s*x trafficking and recruitment but also through education. PATH can come to your school or organization and present topics on s*x trafficking, s*xtortion, s*xting, and online safety. You can find out more by emailing us at [email protected]

We cannot continue to help in the prevention of s*x trafficking and other s*x crimes without the support of donors like you. Remember we are running a campaign through the month of March to raise support to help aid in the prevention of s*x trafficking. Please click the link to give a one-time donation or set up a reoccurring donation. Thank you for your continued support!

PATH had a great time educating in Bryant High School Child Development Classes a couple of weeks ago. The students had the opportunity to learn about s*x trafficking, s*xting and its dangers, and s*xtortion. If your school or organization could use some awareness training, we have options for you. Check out the education tab on our website at: https://www.pathsaves.org/education

Human trafficking can happen to anyone but there are some groups of people more vulnerable than others:
Youth, people with language barriers, those with insecurities, someone suffering from drug abuse or addiction, runaways, those with disabilities, kids in foster care, families in chaos, those who suffered a natural disaster, someone suffering with mental illness, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Traffickers can spot vulnerabilities and can use those to groom a victim into being trafficked. They prey on vulnerabilities to manipulate and control victims.

There are so many myths surrounding human trafficking. One big one is that it usually involves kidnapping. Human trafficking is not typically what you have seen on the movies or some guy in a white van. Victims are often targeted by someone they know. This can be by a romantic partner, family member, friend, or someone they met online.

Traffickers trick, defraud, manipulate, and threaten victims into providing commercial s*x. They look for the most vulnerable people and exploit their vulnerabilities.

Let's work to end human trafficking by understanding the facts surrounding it!
