Last Friday demonstrated the power of community, partnership, and purpose.
The Little Rock Diamond Foundation’s 6th Annual Charity Golf Classic brought together approximately 175 participants and supporters, including more than 100 golfers, for a day focused on more than golf. Even with a little rain at the start, the energy remained high and the mission remained clear.
We were honored to recognize the 25th anniversary of September 11, with Foundation Vice Chairman and Little Rock Fire Department Chief Fire Marshal Antonio Mosby opening the tournament with a special tribute.
A significant highlight was the presentation of the first $1,000 toward a $10,000, three year scholarship commitment from John Coleman and Dr. Chauntee Coleman. This investment will help create additional educational opportunities for both young men and women.
Special recognition goes to Tournament Chair Dr. Kendall Wilson and our Golf Committee for their leadership and commitment. Thank you to our sponsors, donors, volunteers, supporters, and community partners, especially the Little Rock Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
We also appreciate the Country Club of Arkansas and its staff, Too Much Sauce Catering, Wright Vision, DJ Multitalented, our jazz band, and D3🪬 Vision Photography for contributing to a successful experience.
Proceeds from this event help sustain the Foundation and support our scholarships, youth development, financial literacy, educational opportunities, and broader community impact initiatives.
This is what meaningful community investment looks like. We look forward to continuing to build partnerships that create opportunities and strengthen the communities we serve.
When you invest in the Little Rock Diamond Foundation, you invest in future leaders and stronger communities.
