AR Faith Caucus

AR Faith Caucus The Faith Caucus is an auxiliary of the Democratic Party created to educate about the role of religion in political life and to elect Democratic candidates

The Arkansas Faith Caucus is one of several auxiliaries of the Democratic Party of Arkansas. The Caucus was formed in December 2005 during the Democratic Party of Arkansas' State Committee meeting. The purpose of the Arkansas Faith Caucus is to show how faith is relevant to the values of the Democratic Party platform, which includes related issues on poverty, jobs, health, hunger, the environment,

and peace. The Faith Caucus supports and promotes the Democratic Party's principles, platforms, and elections of Democratic candidates at all levels of government.

The Caucus leads the prayers at all State Committee meetings and other Democratic functions.

We know that Arkansas citizens represent religious diversity. All members of the Arkansas Faith Caucus come together in their belief that "OUR FAITH INFORMS OUR DEMOCRATIC VALUES."
