ALC works tirelessly as a national member association and advocacy rep at the federal level, partnering with state associations like ATPA in efforts to foster a policy and economic climate at all levels of governance that enable timber harvesters to carry out their work, making a living, and advance the industry as an economic driver for forest-dependent communities and our country.

We’re proud to recognize the Arkansas Timber Producers Association (ATPA) as a Sons of Liberty Sponsor of the 2026 American Loggers Council Annual Conference!
ATPA was formed in 1991 to give Arkansas loggers and wood producers a unified voice on the issues affecting their businesses. Just a few years later, ATPA became a charter member of the American Loggers Council, helping support the creation of a national forum where the concerns of professional loggers could be heard and represented.
That commitment continues today. ATPA remains actively connected to ALC, with Arkansas represented on the ALC Board of Directors, while the association continues its work at home through industry advocacy, safety and logger education, and the Ark Pro Logger training program.
Although the ATPA team won’t be able to join us in Colonial Williamsburg this year, their support of ALC and professional loggers across the country remains strong. We’re especially grateful that they chose to support this year’s conference as a Sons of Liberty Sponsor even when they can’t be there in person.
