Ms. Walker is a proud graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and our immediate past Ms. Alumni Queen. She is also a distinguished alumna of the UALR Bowen School of Law.

Today we celebrate the incredible mothers, aunties, sisters, grandmothers, godmothers, mentors, and mother like figures who continue to pour love into the students of UAPB and our community. 🖤💛

Thank you for your support and your unwavering love. So much of what we do for students would not be possible without the women who help carry the vision forward.

We pray you have a blessed and beautiful day filled with love, peace, and appreciation.

And to those who are missing their mothers or mother figures today, please know that we are praying for you. May God wrap His loving arms around you and give you comfort and strength.

Can we talk… 🖤💛

Joy Matthews of the Award Winning UAPB/AM&N Pulaski County Alumni Chapter brought alumni and current UAPB students together for a “Can We Talk” Student Alumni Initiative, and the room was filled with laughter, conversation, and connection.

We didn’t just show up… we poured into our students. We listened. We shared. We built relationships that will last far beyond tonight.

And yes, we painted 🎨
Each canvas told a story of pride, creativity, and what it means to be a Golden Lion.

This is what it’s about. Bridging the gap. Strengthening the bond. Making sure our students know they are supported, seen, and loved.
