Sydnie Washington is turning academic excellence into a future of service and impact! She maintains a 4.0 GPA at Xavier University of Louisiana and has secured a reserved seat in Tulane University School of Medicine’s MD Class of 2028 through its Early Assurance Program. 🩺🎓

As a two-time Rousseve Scholar, genetics researcher, and health ambassador, Sydnie is already advancing health education and advocacy in underserved communities.

In 2019, OWJEF invested in Jordan Lambert’s potential. Today, she is helping carry that legacy forward.

Jordan is a Little Rock-based multimedia creative who uses storytelling to strengthen communities and support nonprofit organizations. Through OWJEF, Jordan led the launch of the organization’s inaugural Alumni Advisory Board, supports major fundraising initiatives like the Legacy Benefit Comedy Show, and helps mentor and encourage the next generation of scholars.

Malachi Gober is turning opportunity into leadership, service, and impact!

A Spring 2024 initiate of the Notorious Theta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Malachi went on to serve as the chapter’s president in 2025. His commitment to campus leadership continues as he prepares to serve as the 2026-2027 President of the Arkansas State National Pan-Hellenic Council. Malachi is also a TEACH Scholarship Award recipient, demonstrating his dedication to both academic achievement and service.
