🔨 More Than a Summer Job 💙

When we talked, Emily told us about how college and her future career were putting pressure on her to find the perfect next step. But when she looks back on the summer, she's grateful for having listened to God's call and working to inspire young people to do the same!

Could OMP be where God is calling you next summer?

🔨 MORE THAN A SUMMER JOB 💙

Last summer, our college staff did more than build ramps, lead campers, and serve neighbors. They grew as leaders, deepened their faith, formed lasting friendships, and became part of something bigger than themselves.

Hear what Pierson had to say about their summer with OMP!

We love our neighbors! 💙 We got these pictures from one of our neighbors in North Little Rock who got sturdy, safe handrails installed around the porch. What better way to celebrate the safe porch than to decorate for fall!

Today is National Good Neighbor Day! Today, we celebrate the neighbors we get to know and the joy that knowing them brings! Take a moment today to do something good for someone else! You never know the joy it might bring!

Look at what you make possible! 🥹

This note from John and Tricia is a reminder of the impact that your support of OMP has on neighbors across the state.

Next week is National Neighbor Day. Every year on September 28, we celebrate the little acts that turn strangers into neighbors. This a great day to take a moment and remind people in your life that they aren’t alone. Send a note, wave in the driveway, drop off some baked goodies, rake some leaves, the possibilities are endless.

Would you join us next week for National Neighbor Day on September 28th? Drop in the comments some easy ways to spread joy and love to your neighbors!

When the trip makes it out of the group chat - but make it mission trip edition! 💙🙏🏼🔨

Last weekend for Labor Day, a group of our college staff VOLUNTARILY traveled to finish a project that we couldn’t fit into one of our summer missions weeks! Coming together from all over Arkansas and even Texas, these college staff braved the heat and gave their time to build a safe and sturdy deck for our neighbor. THEY ROCK!

40 years. 4,000+ neighbors. 40,000+ lives touched.

For four decades, Ozark Mission Project has been bringing people together to put faith into action. Youth, neighbors, volunteers, churches, agencies, and communities have all been united in a unique collection of moments and stories over the years.

To celebrate 40 years, we’re asking our OMP family to give $40 for 40 years. Your gift helps OMP stand on a firm foundation to continue transforming lives. $40 helps provide the materials and resources to keep serving and creating opportunities for growth across Arkansas.

Give $40 to help build the next 40 years.

This summer OMP had the privilege of presenting our Golden Hammer Award to Kayla Garrison. The Golden Hammer Award is presented each year to a volunteer who goes above and beyond to bring the mission of OMP to life! 🔨

Kayla has been a part of our Maumelle mission weeks since the beginning and does so much to make the week meaningful, fun, and smooth! If you’ve been to a Maumelle mission you’ve gotten to experience the fun and joy that happens in that community. This summer that even included getting the local fire department to come water down a giant slip and slide to cool off on the last day! From helping get meals donated, to coordinating mission fun, and leading our team of volunteers - Kayla does so much to make our Maumelle mission phenomenal!!

Congratulations, Kayla, and thank you for all you do! 💙
