Join us in congratulating Dr. Shaletha Jones, who was recently elected President of the Arkansas Medical, Dental & Pharmaceutical Association (AMDPA)!
Dr. Shaletha Jones is a native of Camden, Arkansas. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University before matriculating into Ross University School of Medicine and later completed her residency with the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Following her educational endeavors, Dr. Jones returned to her hometown, where she now works as a hospitalist at Ouachita County Medical Center.
Her passions include preventive healthcare, community medicine, and patient advocacy. This led her to establish the nonprofit organization, Changing Health Awareness Together (CHAT), with a mission to equip the community with general medical knowledge so that individuals can advocate for themselves and others in healthcare settings.
She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
