We are black, white, and everything in between. We are men and women and gender non-concorming. We are rich, we are poor. We are white collar and blue collar. We are republican and democrat, progressive and conservative. We want education for our children - we want their lives to be better than ours. We want healthcare for our families - nobody should die because they can't pay for medical care in
this state. We respect each others viewpoints - even when we disagree - and we expect the same of our elected officials. We help our neighbors when they are down-and-out - and we expect our elected officials to do the same. We take care of people in our community when they are sick - and we expect our elected officials to do the same. We live up to the reputation of politeness and civility that is the core value of our Southern culture - and we expect the same of our elected officials. Just as we would punish a child for acting out or misbehaving, If our elected officials do not embody the core Southern values of hospitality, respect, politeness, civility, and kindness, we will punish them by removing them from office. Share your ideas and opinions - conservative, liberal, republican, democrat, religious, etc. Whatever opinion you have is welcome here, so long as you follow 2 rules:
