April is a special month for Holy Sews.
Today is Ryan Henry’s birthday.
His mother poured her grief and all of her love following his loss into a ministry to help other bereaved parents.
Since 2008 Holy Sews has provided over 55,000 burial layettes to hospitals and funeral homes free of charge. These layettes allow grieving parents to bury their baby with dignity, in a completely coordinated set of size appropriate clothing.
Ryan’s short life has been a meaningful one for so many.
April is also volunteer appreciation month!
Our volunteers are a true blessing and we are so thankful for all of you!
Your creativity and skills are amazing and inspirational for others.
The love you all put into each layette is obvious.
You are truly giving a precious gift to families.
Whether you have been with us from the beginning or you just joined us, every volunteer is an important part of our ministry.
