THE COUNTDOWN IS ON… AND WE’RE RUNNING ON COFFEE, CHECKLISTS & A WHOLE LOT OF HEART! 💙

Y’all… if you could see our office right now!

Our W**e Women & Shoes committee, staff, Sole Men, board members, and volunteers are in FULL PREPARATION MODE! The office has officially become part event headquarters, part fashion warehouse, and part obstacle course.

But guess what? WE’RE ALMOST AT $100,000! And while that’s absolutely worth celebrating, we’re not ready to put our shoes up just yet! We want to EXCEED that milestone during the event, and we need YOUR help!

What an incredible day! A HUGE thank-you to every participant, sponsor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make our Protectors Shoot Out Trap Tournament a success! THIS is what commitment looks like. THIS is the ! 💙

Over the past two days, our incredible team has provided expert, compassionate care to 22 kiddos who needed us. And while many of us would be ready to catch our breath after such meaningful, demanding work, our team showed up EARLY this morning, ready to welcome guests to our 8th Annual Protectors Shoot Out! 🎯

Why? Because at CPC, we understand that caring for children is only part of the mission. We must also do what it takes to sustain the work, strengthen our resources, and ensure we can continue showing up for every child who needs us.

From the critical work happening inside our walls to the fundraising efforts that make it possible, our team brings heart, dedication, and purpose to everything we do.

They don’t just talk about making a difference. They show up, roll up their sleeves, and make it happen — even when they’re tired, even when the work is hard, and even when there’s more to do.

We couldn’t be prouder of this team or more grateful for the supporters, sponsors, and participants who stand alongside us in this mission.

Some partnerships are about a raffle prize. The best ones are about so much more!

Meet Jillian Woodruff, the creator of Waderbuddy—an ingenious product born from a very personal need: helping her dad safely remove his duck-hunting waders while keeping his balance. What started as a simple solution for her family has grown into something that is helping others enjoy the outdoors with a little more independence and confidence.

The is incredibly grateful that Jillian has chosen to support the Protectors Shoot Out Sporting Trap Tournament by donating a Waderbuddy for our raffle!

And there’s an extra reason we’re excited for you to meet her story: Jillian is featured in Greenhead Magazine, and every guest at this year’s tournament will receive a copy!

School is back in session, fall has arrived, and children are spending their days surrounded by teachers, coaches, counselors, caregivers, and other trusted adults who can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and protected.

If you see signs of abuse or neglect—or something simply doesn’t feel right—speak up and report your concerns.

You don’t have to know everything or have all the answers to make a report.

Preventing and addressing child abuse takes all of us. In Pulaski County, it takes a community committed to noticing, listening, supporting families, and protecting children.
