Arkansas Animal Alliance Arkansans coming together to be part of an organization that helps enforce Arkansas animal cruelty laws and help rural pounds across the state.

Arkansas Animal Alliance hopes to eliminate the need for animal rescues by focusing on the causes of the problems in our state. We know there will always be need for animal rescue, but we can dream. AAA does intend to make it better for rescues. It will be a long process. So much needs to change in AR. Arkansas Animal Alliance will be involved in rural shelter projects in a way that will not only help one shelter pet but many or all future intakes. Educating law enforcement and our lawmakers is key in our process. And we all know spay/neuter laws need to change, right? We need your help! Be part of our alliance. Arkansas Animal Alliance needs your help! This sweet little girl is currently at the After Hour Animal Hospital in NLR. She is about 6 weeks old and her momma showed up at a couples house in Cleveland, AR. She has 6 litter mates. They got their first vaccines on Thursday. Lacy was acting lethargic Friday when her fosters got home from work so they immediately took her to our vet, Good Shepherd Animal Clinic, and shortly after arriving she started having nonstop seizures and had seizures for like 20-25 minutes. They couldn’t get the seizures to stop. We transferred her to the After Hour Animal Hospital. She’s on an IV seizure medication. She is still not alert night to take oral seizure meds so she can’t leave until she can take oral meds. We aren’t sure of the cause but think it could be a severe vaccine reaction but just don’t know. She is getting an ultrasound this morning which Coates an additional $500. Please donate.

We are still grieving after yesterday's tragedy but I've been needing to post this sweet momma and her puppies. Momma was so sweet with the vet on Saturday and even was gentle while the vet handled her puppies. Will be posting additional photos. Wanted to start with one photo each.
