le of poverty. Our agency was established in 1994 as a partnership between the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Children International – a Kansas City based, nonprofit organization. To achieve this, UA Little Rock Children International has partnered with schools in the Little Rock School District serving the neighborhoods of Central and Southwest Little Rock. Of the 10 countries that Children International serves, the UA Little Rock Children International location is the only U.S. Each year, this site serves approximately 2,600 children and youth with the help of more than 10,000 individual sponsors from around the world. Together with 30+ partner organizations, CI and UA Little Rock are working to help kids break the cycle of poverty once and for all.
