🦅💙💛 Great Partnerships. Greater Impact. The Watson Way!

Today, we had the privilege of hosting a site visit from one of our valued community partners, UA Little Rock Community Programs, along with their grant funder, Children International!

Throughout this year, our partnership has focused on addressing two critical priorities at Watson Elementary: improving student attendance and strengthening social-emotional learning (SEL).

Needless to say, our visitors had an opportunity to witness firsthand the tremendous impact of this partnership. We believe our grant funders left pleased to see the dividends their investment is paying in the lives of our students!

When schools, universities, and community partners work together, great things happen for children. This is yet another reason why our Eagles continue to SOAR higher! 🦅

Hoy tuvimos el privilegio de recibir la visita de uno de nuestros valiosos aliados comunitarios, UA Little Rock Community Programs, junto con su organización financiadora, Children International.

A lo largo de este año, nuestra colaboración se ha enfocado en dos prioridades fundamentales de Watson Elementary: mejorar la asistencia escolar y fortalecer el aprendizaje socioemocional de nuestros estudiantes.

¡Sin duda, nuestros visitantes tuvieron la oportunidad de observar de primera mano el gran impacto de esta colaboración! Creemos que nuestros patrocinadores se fueron satisfechos al ver los frutos de su inversión en la vida de nuestros estudiantes.

Cuando las escuelas, las universidades y las organizaciones comunitarias trabajan juntas, ¡suceden grandes cosas para nuestros niños!

The Little Rock Mayor’s Youth Council is now accepting applications. Membership is open to 10th-12th graders living and attending school in Little Rock.

MYC unites high school students from across Little Rock around a common goal: making the City a better place for youth by tackling issues that affect them. MYC members work together to advocate for local issues, volunteer, and participate in international youth exchanges.
