Mini-grant applications close August 1, 2026.

The SoMa 501 Mini-Grant Program helps local businesses invest in their space and create experiences that bring people into the district. Two ways to apply:

•Business Improvement Grants: signage, awnings, façade work, lighting, landscaping, outdoor seating & more

•Community Activation Grants: pop-up markets, live music, art walks, workshops & more

This program is powered by SoMa itself, funded through proceeds from SoMardi Gras, SoMa Pride, community fundraisers, sponsorships, and Main Street Arkansas grant funding. So every time you show up for those events, you're helping fund opportunities like these for local businesses.

Clean and crispy curbs make such a huge improvement in curb appeal, and I don’t know why more people don’t address it. It only takes a few minutes to shovel, it prevents litter and debris from collecting, and you typically only have to it a couple of times a year.
