"Only what you do for Christ will last." - Rev. Emmanuel Dorgbadzi

Today we celebrate the birthday of our founder, Papa Emmanuel. Born in the Volta region of Ghana in 1936, Papa Emmanuel lived an amazing life. He founded The Bryant Mission which has planted and continues to plant many churches named Evangelist Temple. He began a school and a hospital which we hope to multiply. He also founded The Great Commission which, since its beginning, has worked with The Bryant Mission to serve the people of Ghana for the glory of God.

We thank the Lord for the testimony of Papa Emmanuel's life and the powerful ways the Lord works through his faithful servants. We continue the work of Papa Emmanuel, following his legacy of caring for people through churches, educational resources, and medical care.

The church in Manso Nkwanta is a welcoming community that cares for one another and their community. The church needs instruments and some help working on their building. They recently received a new pastor and we are excited to see how this church grows and flourishes.

Lord, thank you for the people of the Manso Nkwanta church. Thank you for their welcoming spirit and communal warmth. We ask that you would unite them in their work of caring for one another and the community as your hands and feet. We ask that you would provide for their needs. That you would raise up someone to donate instruments for worship and help restore their building. We ask that the needs of this church and the members be met in miraculous ways that glorify you. Protect this church and its people. Lead the children in paths of righteousness for your name's sake. May this church experience your abundance today, Lord. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

We celebrate the birthday of Mama Patricia today who served as president of The Great Commission. She faithfully led the ministry until she passed in December 2021. She was a gracious leader whose heart was set upon Christ. Her patience, kindness, and gentleness were gifts to all who worked with her. She is greatly missed by The Great Commission and The Bryant Mission. We thank God for her faithful life lived in the Lord’s service.
