The Natural State Council, Scouting America, proudly hosted the 2026 Northwest Arkansas Heart of the Eagle Luncheon, honoring the Hunt family for their lasting impact on Arkansas through generations of business leadership, philanthropy, and community service.

We were especially honored to hear from Johnelle and Bryan Hunt, who shared the values that have helped shape their family's legacy. Their message was a powerful reminder that lasting success is more than what you build. It’s about being honest, caring for the people around you, and creating opportunities that strengthen your community for generations to come.

These values reflect the heart of Scouting and the importance of preparing young people to become leaders who serve others and make a meaningful difference in the world.

Thank you to the Hunt family for allowing us to honor and celebrate their legacy and for sharing the values that continue to inspire others across Arkansas.

A special thank you to John L. George, our Master of Ceremonies, for helping guide the luncheon, as well as Tom Allen, our event chairman, our sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who joined us in celebrating the Hunt family and supporting the mission of Scouting.

Your generosity helps us continue building character, developing leaders, and preparing young people for life.
