It's Giving Tuesday, and this year Pulaski County Imagination Library is teaming up with Smart Change, a fantastic new fundraising app that allows you to support our book program in several different ways in order to give the gift of reading to kids in your community.

A donation of $35 is enough to cover books for a child for an entire year, and $175 will provide free books every month for one child from birth to age five. Please use the link below to become a monthly donor, make a one-time gift, or try out our newest feature: the spare-change roundup, which allows you to round up your everyday purchases and donated those extra pennies to provide free books for kids in your community. Since 2018, Pulaski County Imagination Library has provided local children more than 699,500 books, all of which are always completely free to families! In order to continue this effort and expand our free-book program to even more children in Pulaski County, we rely on the financial support of donors like you. Thank you to the amazing team at Popshelf in West Little Rock for using their lunch break to volunteer for Pulaski County Imagination Library today! With Dolly Parton tunes playing in the break room, the Popshelf employees and a few friends and family helped us process almost 100 registration forms and prep hundreds more forms for distribution.

We are so excited - this weekend, Cypress Social is hosting a special Dolly Parton Weekend with a fun themed menu, and a portion of the proceeds will support Pulaski County, AR Imagination Library!

Pulaski County, AR Imagination Library is proud to have played a part in achieving this huge accomplishment! Register your child or donate to support our book program at pcaril.org.

Today, we mailed the 5 millionth book from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to Arkansas children! That is not a typo, Arkansas kids have received 5 million books, free to their families, from the Imagination Library. This is making a real difference in these kids’ lives, now and into the future. And we are far from done!

Today is Giving Tuesday, and Pulaski County Imagination Library is grateful for the support of the Rotary Club of Little Rock (Club 99) for sponsoring monthly books for 99 children in Pulaski County. Donations like today's generous gift from Club 99 allow us to deliver a free, age-appropriate book to more than 11,000 Pulaski County children each month, adding up to more than 500,000 books delivered to date. You can help support Pulaski County Imagination Library's efforts to promote childhood literacy by donating today at PCARIL.ORG. A donation of $26 will provide free monthly books for one child for a full year, and $130 will sponsor a child from birth to age five.
