Michael worked for us when we owned Downtown Storage. He was a good friend and would do anything to help others. He died unexpectedly Sunday morning. Please keep his family in your prayers, Danielle and Michelle are his daughters and he adored them. Michael did not have any insurance, a Gofundme has been started to pay for cremation and a memorial service.

Thank you and bless you for visiting this page. We are Danielle & Mic… Danielle Spring needs your support for Memorial Service & Cremation for Michael Spring

Good Morning! I haven't posted in awhile, due to several things........my husband had an ankle replacement, due to COVID we have been unable to have a caregiver for our son and last but not least........the COVID virus.

I know many of you are wanting to help our Veterans for Christmas, but we will have to do it a little different way this year.

The Van, is a local organization that goes directly to the homeless camps, to help them with what they need. I have delivered most of our donations this year to them to be distributed. I feel this is the only safe way to do this right now.

The kinds of items that they need are:

*Pop top can meals
*Pots
*Mens shoes and boots - all sizes
*Mens Jean and pants size 28-34
*Hats and Gloves
*Snacks

We will be happy to do a front porch pick-up, just text me the address to 501-517-7222.

If you prefer to send a donation, you can send it to:

Arkansas Adopt A Vet
P.O. Box 13557
Maumelle, AR 72113

We will use any donations to purchase the items listed above.

We understand that this is such a hard time for everyone, on many different levels. So we are praying for a "healing" and healthy 2021.

Thank you as always for your support!

Good morning!

The Van needs shoes (sturdy ones all sizes)

And pots that the homeless can cook with.
This is something they are very low on.
I can do a front porch pickup, if you have either of these .....please let me know. Our homeless are struggling right now! Thank you!

Veterans supporters! I wanted to let you know that we havent forgotten our Vets during this Corona Virus!
We have several that had just gotten a place to live, off the streets and jobs, only to be laid off because of the virus!
Talk about heartbreaking!
We have 4 veterans that we are buying groceries for right now.....our resources are low, like everyone's. But we are doing what we can.
Thank you for your support!

Two days ago while checking up on a new Veteran Friend that had just recently gotten off the streets into an apartment, I was devastated to learn he had been laid off of his job, due to the Corona Virus shut downs.

We had been working on getting furniture for his new apt, because right now all he has is a bed and a box for a dresser.

Though I hadnt talked to him in about a week, God put it on my heart to text him and see how he was doing........he was eating his last frozen pizza and hadnt been able to get through to the unemployment office. He wasnt sure what he was going to do.

A month ago, the late Richard Baker's family had reached out to us and said that Richard had passed away and that he had wanted to work with homeless Veterans, but had not had the chance before he passed away.
They were letting me know that they had asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Arkansas Adopt A Vet. That money we received was used to buy 3 weeks of grocerys for our recently laid off Vet❣
God works in amazing ways!
A huge thank you to the Richard Baker Family! Richard made a huge difference in the life of one of our Veterans!

Guys this is a call to action!
Afghanistan Veteran Mathew Potts is still confirmed missing, and we are asking for your help in finding him.

If you are able bodied and willing to hike through rough mountainous terrain to help , we will be organizing a volunteer search party at the

Ozone Recreation & Campground in Ozone, Arkansas 72854

At 10:00am on Saturday February 1st.

We are asking everyone who wants to assist us in this effort to bring plenty of fluids, a bag lunch, first aid gear for falls and scrapes, and be prepared for a safety brief.

All volunteers will be required to sign in at the rally point, and will be placed in teams.

We will work in conjunction with Mathews family and local Law Enforcement in order to cover the most ground and search in areas that have not been covered.

We are calling on any and all local Veterans to remember their oaths to never leave a fallen comrade and join us in our effort to , and we welcome any and all civilian Volunteers as well.

His family needs our help,

And we leave NO ONE behind...

If you’re interested in helping please comment below so we can have an idea of how many extra supplies to secure, and please share to help get the word out.

Thank you.
God Bless you!
