💜 21 YEARS OF FAITH • LOVE • HOPE 💜

July 31, 2005 — July 31, 2026

Twenty-one years ago, we stepped out on faith and opened the doors of the S.R. Chambers Community Outreach Center, sponsored by Evangelist Temple C.O.G.I.C. and supported by members who believed that ministry should reach beyond the walls of the church.

We didn’t know everything the next 20 plus years would bring. We simply knew there were people who needed to be served—and we were willing to serve.

Over the years, our outreach has included a food pantry, clothing closet, GED support, health and wellness initiatives, holiday outreach, community events, and partnerships with organizations such as UAMS, Rejoice, Rice Depot, Arkansas Foodbank, Rock Creek Church, and so many others.

We’ve experienced seasons of abundance and seasons when resources were limited. We even made it through COVID-19, when serving our community looked very different—but the mission remained the same.

And through it ALL, God has been faithful. 🙏🏾

Today, we say THANK YOU.

Thank you to the members of Evangelist Temple who have donated, volunteered, prayed, served, packed boxes, sorted clothes, prepared food, loaded cars and simply showed up.

Thank you to our community partners who saw the vision and helped us continue the work.

Thank you to our weekly volunteers—the faithful hands and hearts who have helped keep this ministry moving year after year.

And today, we also pause. ❤️

We lovingly remember the volunteers, members, friends and supporters who served beside us over these 21 years but are no longer here. Their hands may no longer be working beside ours, but their fingerprints will forever remain on this ministry.

A special thank you to our pastor, Bishop Carl Ratliff Sr., for his continued leadership, support and belief in the importance of serving our community.

Twenty-one years later, we’re still here.

Still serving.
Still loving.
Still believing.
Still answering the call.
