While in Memphis for the Nancy Walton Laurie Leadership Institute, our chapter president (Amaya Mendoza; PC'24) was able to visit Chi Omega Headquarters!

Here's what she had to share: "This overall experience was so incredibly inspiring and eye opening. I was able to talk with so many Chi Omega's through so many different walks of life, while learning how to become a more resilient leader and person- for myself and for my chapter.

From browsing our chapter book to hunting down our brick in the 'Walk of Chapters' in the Myth Garden, to getting to see the second ever Chi O Convention photo (Little Rock!), I could truly see there being so much love held for each and every sister during these past 131 years.

I am so excited for all the memories, letters and more that these upcoming years will bring. 🦉"

Join us in congratulating our chapter president, Amaya Mendoza (PC '24), on completing the Nancy Walton Laurie Leadership Institute Fall Flagship Session in Memphis, TN! 🦉

These sessions are available through application only, and it is a very selective process. September 25-27 was spent diving into "The Resilient Leader"- alongside Sisters (collegiate & alum) from all across the country.

We are so proud of Sister Mendoza for continuing to represent Gamma Zeta on so many levels - and we are so excited for everything she's bringing back to share with our chapter! ❤️💛..

To our sisters and the UA Little Rock community:

In light of the national conversation surrounding the case at Cornell, the Gamma Zeta Chapter of Chi Omega wants to be clear about where we stand.

Chi Omega's Symphony calls us "to choose thoughtfully that course which occasion and conscience demand." In that spirit, we stand with survivors who have shared their experiences, and with those who may never choose to.

We stand firmly against sexual violence in all its forms. Every survivor is deserving of support, respect, and the freedom to navigate what they've experienced on their own terms.

To anyone who may be struggling: you are never alone. You have sisters who will listen, who will believe you, and who will stand beside you. You don't need to have the right words, and you never have to go through something alone.

We love our sisters. We stand with survivors. And we will always be here for one another. ❤️💛

COLOR Walk for Make-A-Wish is BACK! 🫟

This upcoming Monday, October 5th, come join Chi Omega (+ Kappa Sigma and friends) as we spread some color throughout campus. It is FREE to attend, and we'll have color packs and t-shirts to wear over clothes (while supplies last).

We'll start mingling near the lodge at 10AM, and plan to START at 11AM! Come make some friends, invite your own, raise awareness and walk for a cause. 💙⭐️
