The Arkansas Coalition Against Sexual Assault stands with the survivor at the center of the Cornell Seven case.

A young woman has described being pressured to take ketamine and then s*xually assaulted by multiple men at a Cornell fraternity house. According to her lawsuit, a fraternity group chat announced she was available for s*x. Nothing reported so far shows that anyone who read it stepped in. It took two years, a lawsuit, and the student journalists at The Cornell Daily Sun for officials to take a second look.

Our statement addresses:
• The trauma she carries, and the second injury of public scrutiny
• The double standard that questions her choices instead of theirs
• Why men should be outraged, and what parents owe their sons
• How the Title IX rollback makes accountability harder on every campus

Arkansas is not immune. We are calling on our colleges, universities, and lawmakers to act now.
