The ribbon cutting was a historic moment for Women & Children First and for Arkansas.

But it was only the beginning.

This month, final work continues inside the Family Peace Center as partner agencies prepare to move in. When the doors open, survivors and families will have a new way to find help, safety and support.

One Place. One Story. One Future.

What a week at CCAW 2026!

We loved having the opportunity to not only attend, but also contribute in this event! ACASA hosted a booth for The Butterfly Effect Program, our Law Enforcement Training Director presented multiple sessions, and our Executive Director partnered with Ozark R**e Crisis Center Director, Dorinda Edmisten, to present on advocating for individuals with disabilities.

We are so proud of the incredible team we have
at ACASA and grateful for the chance to learn, share, and connect with others dedicated to this work.

Thank you to everyone who made this week so meaningful! And thank you to Kristin Daley, from K Training & Consulting, LLC., who co-presented on two training sessions with us! 🩵

April 19–25 is National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. In recognition of this week, ACASA presents the Visionary Voice Award. This award recognizes individuals who show creativity and commitment in efforts to end sexual violence. One of these individuals has consistently championed our youth prevention program, always prioritizing the well-being of the children in her care and helping it grow at every stage.

ACASA is proud to recognize Maribel Siems as this year’s Visionary Voice Award recipient!
Her work reflects what our mission is about: helping create safe, nurturing environments where everyone can thrive.

Enjoy additional photos from the ceremony. It was an honor to recognize such deserving individuals! ❤️
