is an inner-city mission focused on a ministry of hope to those experiencing homelessness, hunger, and those who are displaced and under-resourced in the Little Rock area. The Compassion Center, Inc., established in October of 1998, is a Christian organization dedicated to expressing the love of God through the ministries of feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We hold regular church services on Sunday and Wednesday as well as Bible studies five nights a week and every morning at 7:00 am. We provide beds for 40 women and 200 men nightly.

*Hot meals. Hot meals are served three times a day 365 days a year.

*Food Pantry. Open every Thursday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Emergency food is supplied when needed.

*Clothing Assistance. Much clothing is given away to the needy. In the evenings, at shower time, if a clean change of clothing is needed, we provide that need.

*Education Programs. Computers and training are made available to help provide educational needs necessary to obtain a G.E.D. We Offer:

*Drug and Alcohol Recovery Program - a 12-step program to assist you in conquering the powerful addictions that are holding you back from reaching your true, full potential.

*Women & Children's Shelter - AWAKEN, this 75-bed facility is designed to meet the needs of women and kids experiencing homelessness right here in LittleRock. To apply to stay at AWAKEN please call the office at 501-296-9114 to schedule an application interview.

*Spiritual Guidance - Praise and worship, Moring Devotionals, and Bible Studies.
