In Fall 2022, Immerse launched the Growth & Transformation Program, fully integrating therapy, recreation and transformational experiences into our model of care.

Through trauma-informed therapy, meaningful experiences and intentional opportunities for connection and growth, the program helps youth process their stories, build resilience and experience healing in tangible ways, both inside and outside the therapy room.

Because true transformation is not just about surviving crisis — it’s about creating space for young people to heal and grow.

To honor 15 years of walking alongside these extraordinary overcomers, we’re remembering the moments that shaped who we are today. Every month through October, we’ll share a pivotal part of our journey as young people transform from crisis into overcoming.

We loved celebrating several incredible youth this past week with a graduation ceremony and reception honoring their hard work and accomplishments. 🎓 Together, we celebrated 10 high school graduates, four newly-certified professionals and one master’s-level graduate.

These milestones represent so much perseverance, growth and dedication. It is such a joy to walk alongside these young people as they catch a vision for their restored future and are equipped to pursue financial stability.

We’re hiring a Senior Generosity Officer in Little Rock! 👋

A we continue to grow in Central Arkansas, we are looking for someone who will help execute a growing donor-centric major gifts program, working closely with the Director of Generosity to ensure that these efforts are integrated with all of Immerse’s existing development and outreach work. The Senior Generosity Officer will be instrumental in driving Immerse’s mission forward, working to meet annual generosity goals while pursuing strategic fundraising opportunities and cultivating meaningful relationships.

We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience working with major donors, a proven track record in fundraising and a heart for youth from crisis.

When Christian got his first paycheck last summer, he repaid his parents for something they’d covered for him, treated himself to a small reward and saved the rest by opening his first savings account.

For months before that first paycheck, Christian worked with his Immerse coach on practical foundations of adulthood, including job skills and financial literacy. This is what it looks like for youth from foster care to rewrite their scripts, equipped with tools they find at Immerse.✍️

In 2021, Immerse launched LifeBASE Teen to walk alongside youth in foster care and their adoptive families through the youth's transition to adulthood.

What began as a proactive response became something much deeper: a pathway toward healing, growth and long-term support.

Through one-on-one coaching, trauma and recreational therapy, relationship-building, employment and education support, and specialized training, LifeBASE Teen equips youth 14–18 with the tools, support and community they need to move forward with confidence and hope.

Today, the program serves youth and families in Little Rock and Conway, reminding young people that their story is bigger than their trauma.

At 16, Trinity just completed her first job application. Her grades are climbing, her confidence is growing, and this spring she spoke at an Immerse event for International Women’s Day.

“Since being with Immerse, I’ve worked with my coach and my therapist, and I’ve seen a change in my whole person,” Trinity shared. 💙

The trauma that youth experience in foster care doesn’t leave them when they’re adopted, but it doesn’t have to define their stories. With a team in her corner at Immerse, Trinity is equipped to begin healing and to write for herself what comes next.
