Own a piece of Dolly Parton history—and help local children receive books!

The United Way of Greater Texarkana, INC, program partner for the Miller County Imagination Library, is auctioning a vanity personally signed by Dolly in 2017. 100% of the proceeds will support free monthly books for children from birth to age five.

A little bedtime magic is coming back. ✨❤️

For a limited time, "GoodNight With Dolly" is once again available to stream through October 21, giving families the chance to snuggle up and share these special bedtime stories from the Imagination Library collection, read aloud by Dolly herself.

Created during the 2020 pandemic as a way to bring families together and offer a little comfort, connection and imagination during uncertain times, "GoodNight With Dolly" became a cherished part of bedtime for families around the world.

In a meaningful tribute to Dolly and her legacy, Penguin Random House has generously made all 10 episodes available again, allowing Dolly’s voice to once again fill homes with stories, warmth and love.

Gather your loved ones, get cozy and enjoy this limited-time return of "GoodNight With Dolly", streaming now through October 21. 🌙📚❤️

Target Circle members can vote to help direct Target funds to our work providing free monthly books to children across Arkansas.

Here’s how:

This month’s lineup includes the award-winning Don’t Trust Fish—a hilarious new pick for children born in 2022. 🐟

It’s one of six books headed to Arkansas children this month, with a different title selected for every age from birth to 5.

📚 More Arkansas children than ever are receiving Imagination Library books!

This October, 85,916 children are enrolled—47.6% of Arkansas children ages 0-5 and more than 4,000 new young readers in just one month.

In the weeks since Dolly’s passing, Arkansas families have honored her legacy by enrolling their children her Imagination Library.

And we’re still growing. 💙

Every Arkansas child from birth to age five can receive a FREE book in the mail each month until their 5th birthday.

Arkansas showed up in a big way for the first annual Give Like Dolly Day! 🦋📚

Across the state, communities celebrated with read-alouds, Dolly-themed parties, business promotions, performances, proclamations, fundraisers, enrollment events and plenty of pink.

Thank you to every local program partner, library, school, business, organization, volunteer, donor and family who joined the celebration. Whether you hosted an event, made a gift, helped enroll a child or simply shared our mission, you helped carry forward a legacy of generosity and a love of reading.

The joy in these photos tells the story: when Arkansas communities come together, more children can experience the excitement of receiving a new book in the mail.

Thank you for making our first Give Like Dolly Day one to remember. We can’t wait to celebrate with you again next year!

Many thanks to Arkansas Community Foundation and Fayetteville Area Affiliate of Arkansas Community Foundation who has awarded $60,000 to Arkansas Imagination Library to start a long-term fund for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Benton and Washington counties.

The fund will help cover the cost of books mailed to local children each month and support efforts to reach more families.

Arkansas Imagination Library has received a grant from the Arkansas Community Foundation to establish a fund supporting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
