In case you missed it, Eaton announced a $242 million investment in a new manufacturing facility in North Little Rock!

Eaton expects to create more than 1,200 new jobs, making this one of the largest job-creating projects in Arkansas history.

From touring the Port of Little Rock and celebrating Entergy Arkansas’s new Frazier Pike Substation to discussing new legislation and diving into national site selection trends with regional partners and MetRock Forward investors, it was a powerful two days showcasing our momentum.

Today, we joined Entergy Arkansas to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new Frazier Pike Substation at the Port of Little Rock.

According to the Site Selectors Guild, electric power capacity is currently the top factor when companies decide where to expand and create jobs. With this infrastructure investment, Little Rock is staying ahead of the curve, ensuring existing employers like Amazon.com, Trex Company, and Welspun Tubular have the reliable power they need while positioning our community to win the next generation of job-creating projects.

After evaluating 150 sites across 12 states, Fortune 200 Eaton announced a $242 million investment in a new manufacturing facility in North Little Rock!

Eaton expects to create more than 1,200 manufacturing, electrical, and operations positions as the site ramps to full production.

The Chamber was proud to partner with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission to lead a team of 15 organizations that worked together to land this investment.

What started as a single pop-up has grown into a movement for connection, community and visibility. ✨

Hairpins: Events for Le****ns & Qu**rs, a queer-led events company founded in 2024, is creating social, cultural and community experiences in places where dedicated spaces are limited or nonexistent.

In just a short time, Hairpins has grown into a multimarket organization, hosting 40+ events and welcoming more than 6,500 attendees across the South and Midwest.
