Not only has Mr. Kenny Tosh achieved all of the accomplishments listed below, but he has done so while serving on our Board of Directors. We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations and recognize his outstanding contributions, leadership, and dedication.
A career marked by such remarkable achievements deserves to be celebrated. Please join us in honoring Kenny for his exceptional success and the lasting impact he continues to make both within our organization and throughout his profession.

Today we celebrate Kenny Tosh and an incredible workiversary! From EMT to Paramedic, Supervisor, Clinical Operations Director, and now Chief Operating Officer, Kenny has spent four decades serving our patients, supporting our crews, and helping lead Vital Link forward.

No one is a bigger champion of this organization! Even today, he never fully relaxes knowing our crews are out serving the community. That’s because Vital Link isn’t just where Kenny works…it’s part of who he is.

Thank you, Kenny, for 40 years of leadership, dedication, and heart. Congratulations on an extraordinary milestone!

Happy EMS Week – Parade of Lights to the Capitol

Today, more than 36 units participated in the Parade of Lights, one of the largest turnouts we’ve heard of! Thank you to everyone who came out and showed up today, making this Kerry and I's first — and certainly most eventful — Parade of Lights to remember.

The parade began at the War Memorial and ended right in front of the Capitol, creating a truly showstopping event.

Following the parade, everyone proceeded into the Capitol for the presentation of the proclamation from Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, presented by State Representative and ArAA Board Member Bart Schulz. ArAA Board President Amanda Warren-Newton delivered an inspiring and heartwarming “day in the life” speech, reminding us all of the dedication and compassion EMS professionals bring to their work every day.

The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Brandon Morshedi, who spoke from personal experience — not just from his role as a physician. That is what made his message so meaningful.

“No algorithm, protocol, or piece of technology can replace what EMS clinicians bring to the bedside or the roadside.”

We could not have made today possible without the support of our wonderful board members, who helped make the reception extra special by donating door prizes.

We are so privileged to work alongside and support those whose job it is to take care of others.

Every EMS clinician carries one call with them forever, not for its heroism but for its humanity. A child whose breathing finally stabilized, a grandmother whose hand was held until her family reached her side, or a stranger who, despite fear and pain in their eyes, chose to trust them.

These moments seldom make headlines, yet they influence outcomes and change lives. These outcomes go beyond just vital signs. They include people returning home, families remaining united and communities feeling safer because someone was there when it mattered most.

Today’s EMS clinicians bring advanced skills and innovative tools to these moments: evolving models of care that serve patients in big cities, tribal lands, rural plains and everywhere in between: prehospital ultrasound, early stroke recognition, and whole blood transfusion. These advancements are creating a measurable difference well before the patient reaches the hospital.

Improving Outcomes, Together extends beyond medicine. It’s a collective responsibility that involves investing in the people behind the care with fair pay, safe staffing levels, mental health resources, leadership that listens and acts, and opportunities for professional growth.

This week, we recognize the people behind the patch and reaffirm our commitment, as partners and communities, to Improving Outcomes, Together.
