There is nothing worse than having to watch an amazing dog slowly lose hope. Going from a home to living in the shelter for 3 months with no interest and no end in sight has been hard on Abby.

Despite being a sweet, friendly, and loving dog, Abby is a difficult adoption. She is an escape artist and will climb the fence or possibly dig out and run if left unsupervised. We have had no problems as long as someone sits out with her, she just can't be left out alone.

Abby needs a responsible owner who will make sure she doesn't have the chance to run off. She is great with people and is very gentle, friendly, and affectionate. She is good with kids and has done well with other dogs that aren't overly pushy.

Abby is 3 1/2 years old and weighs 52 pounds. She is heartworm negative, spayed, and will be microchipped at the time of adoption. If you have additional questions, please call the shelter at 501-268-3535. Comments are not monitored.

We are so critical right now. We must have you to literally save lives. As of 2:00 p.m. dogs and cats are sponsored. The only exclusion will be 501c3 dogs, who must be pulled by a rescue.

Nali

Nali Is our longest resident. She came in December and was involved in a horrific hoarding case that was just adjudicated in July. She is a super senior and weighs around 35 lbs.

She does great on a leash and loves people of all sizes. Although she came in with several dogs, and we mean several. She has had difficulty finding a dog best friend during meet and greets.

She is potty trained and loving. Please come save her now. We're located at 319 Davidson Drive and are open until 5:00 p.m..
