Great lions club meeting yesterday. President Lion Eric Yarberry who had people tell good news stories and share something good.

Lion Bec Dwyer-Coop received a lions of the year award for her hard work on an LCIF grant.

District Govenor Bill Johnson gave district updates to the club.

Join us today at World Services for the Blind for the Little Rock Founders Lions Club lunch and learn. Special guest speaker, in honor of Veterans day, is Kara Aaron, Visually Impaired Serviced Team (VIST) Coordinator, at the Little Rock Veterans Hospital.

According to the VA’s Office of Blind Rehabilitation Services there are approximately 130,000 veterans in the US who are legally blind, and more than a million Veterans who have low vision that causes a loss of ability to perform necessary daily activities.

The VIST teams play a vital role in helping blind and visually impaired veterans remain independent.

The Pigskin Preacher at Little Rock Founders Lions Club right here on Fair Park Blvd.

Chuck Monan of Pinnacle church of Christ family since its beginning 2018. Chuck has served in ministry for nearly four decades for congregations in Michigan, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Chuck, aka the Pigskin Preacher, can be heard hosting a weekly talk radio broadcast locally on 103.7 FM. He is a gifted speaker who has lectured and conducted gospel meetings throughout the country. He is a contributing author of “Redeeming the Times” and “Preach Better.”

Little Rock Founders Club Baseball Team ~The Royals celebrated the (not quite) end of season today with pizza, prizes from the baseball collection of Lion Don Kurdie, and encouraging words from the coaches. Go Royals!
